These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Paycheck to Paycheck application and related services ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Beta Program Terms

The Service is currently offered as a limited beta program. Beta features may be incomplete, modified, or removed at any time.

Access may be limited or revoked as we manage beta capacity.
Functionality may change without prior notice.
Some features may be unavailable, unstable, or experimental.
We may release updates that affect workflows or historical behavior.

Beta access does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or production-grade performance.

3. Founding Beta Pricing

We may offer special pricing to users who join during a defined beta enrollment window.

Eligibility is determined by our systems using account creation timing and billing records.
Beta pricing may only apply to eligible accounts/households and selected plans.
Beta pricing is non-transferable and cannot be sold or reassigned.
If a subscription is canceled, paused, or otherwise interrupted, reinstatement at beta pricing is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated by us.

4. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to form a binding agreement.

You are responsible for:

Maintaining account credential confidentiality
All activity under your account
Notifying us promptly of unauthorized use

5. Service Description

The Service may include planning and budgeting tools such as:

Pay schedule planning
Recurring expense and envelope budgeting workflows
Goal and projection tracking
Optional third-party account connectivity (for example, Plaid integrations)

Features and roadmap items may differ between users and may change during beta.

6. Billing and Payments

Paid features are billed through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled.
You are responsible for taxes and fees associated with your subscription.
We may change standard pricing with notice as required by law.
Trial offers, if any, are subject to separate eligibility and timing rules.

7. Third-Party Services

Use of third-party services (such as Stripe or Plaid) is subject to their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for outages, delays, or data issues caused by third-party providers or financial institutions.

8. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

Use the Service unlawfully
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Reverse engineer or exploit the Service
Interfere with Service performance or security

9. Financial Disclaimer

The Service provides planning tools for informational purposes only.

We do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, abuse, fraud, or legal compliance reasons.

You may delete your account at any time from within the application when available.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Our total liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months before the claim, if any.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including as the beta program evolves.

Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice.
